As you know the AGM for our Class was held during the World Championships
week in Italy and I can now attach the minutes of that meeting plus the
attachments.

Comme vous le savez l'AG pour notre classe a eu lieu
durant la semaine de Championnat du Monde en Italie et je peux maintenant
joindre le compte rendu de cette réunion ainsi que les pièces
jointes (que vous aurez sur le site dès traduction).
I am going to have to confess that my recent
workload has meant that these are right up against the deadline for publication
and I apologise for that. Also technically they do need the signatures
of the two people who have accepted the task of approving the minutes
but I have no reason to believe that this will not happen. It is is process
of being sent for signature.
Je dois avouer que ma charge de travail récente a fait que le compte-rendui
reste hors délai de publication, et je m'en excuse. De plus techniquement,
ils doivent avoir les signatures des deux personnes qui ont accepté
la tâche d'approuver le procès-verbal, mais je n'ai aucune
raison de croire que cela n'arrivera pas. Ce compte-rendu est train d'être
envoyé à la signature .
It was a very productive meeting and once the
constitution has been approved by ISAF then it does move the Class forward
with its desire to administrate the two classes - Open and One Design
- but much work still has to be accomplished on all of the final rules
etc for the Norlin Mk3 Class.
C'était une réunion très productive et une fois que
la constitution aura été approuvée par l'ISAF alors
la Classe ira de l'avant avec son désir d'administrer les deux
section - OPEN et One Design - mais beaucoup de travail doit encore être
réalisé sur l'ensemble des règles de classe définitives
etc pour la classe Mk3 Norlin One Design.
Your president Paul Kragset and Stelan Berlin
are currently in Dublin for the ISAF November meeting with a view to having
discussions with the ISAF representatives as to the next stage in all
of this.
As you may also gather the work of the EC, this year has been towards
equal representation for all International 2.4mR boats and I have no doubt
that this will continue to be the case.

à Dublin pour la réunion ISAF de Novembre en vue d'avoir
des discussions avec les représentants de l'ISAF afin de discuter
de l'étape suivante.
Comme vous pouvez également rassembler les travaux du bureaux,
cette année a été d'une représentation égale
pour tous les 2.4mR et je n'ai aucun doute que cela continuera à
en être le cas.
When you view the minutes and the new constitution,
there is a requirement for all NCAs to read this and compare it with their
individual country constitutions. In that process you may well find that
each NCA will have to amend theirs to accord with the International Class.
In advance of that may I ask you to send a copy as an attachment to an
email of your current constitution as it may help you for me to view the
wordings and to suggest possible changes.
Lorsque vous afficherez les minutes et la nouvelle Constitution, il y
a une demande pour toutes les NCA ( Classe Nationale ) de lire ces documents
et de les comparer avec leurs propre documents, dans chaque pays. Dans
ce processus de comparaison, vous découvrirez peut-être que
chaque NCA devra peut être les modifier pour les accorder avec la
classe internationale.
En prévision de ceci je vous demande d'envoyer une copie (en pièce
jointe) avec un e-mail de votre constitution actuelle car cela peut m'aider
d'en voir une copie et de proposer d'éventuelles modifications.
Plans are well ahead for the UK Worlds 2013 under
the flag of The Poole Yacht Club to be held between the 7th and 14th September
next year. Please be advised that this will be a great event on very good
water and facilities and we are expecting a large entry for it.
Our aim is also to run a 'tune-up' event in the previous week at a location
very close to the actual worlds course and this will make a good holiday
break and a worthwhile event. For those who are attending the IFDS World
Championships this is being held in Ireland in the preceding week to our
tune-up event so I expect with all the possible practice that sailing
standards will be as high as ever.
Les plans pour l'organisation du Mondial 2013
au Royaume-Uni dans le cadre du Yacht Club de Poole sont bien
en avance et se tiendra entre cette année
2013, du 7 et 14 Septembre prochain. S'il vous plaît,
notez que ce sera un grand événement sur l'eau et que les
installations sont très bonnes, nous nous attendons à un
grand nombre de participants pour cet événement.
Notre objectif est également de lancer une manifestation de "
Tuning " la semaine précédente à un endroit
très proche du Mondial 2013 et cela fera une pause de bonnes vacances
et un événement digne d'intérêt. Pour ceux
qui assisteront au Championnat du Monde IFDS
2013, cela se tiendra en Irlande dans
la semaine précédente à notre événement
Tuning, donc je m'attends à toutes les pratiques possibles
et que les courses seront aussi élevés que jamais.
The National Yacht Club, Toronto, Canada have
given the class a formal application for the 2014 Worlds. Your vice president,
Bruce Millar, is running with this one and again by the look of the water
and the facilities we are in for yet another brilliant championships.
Le National Yacht Club, de Toronto, au Canada a envoyé à
la Classe, une demande officielle pour le Mondial 2014. Votre vice-président,
Bruce Millar, nous signale la qualité du plan d'eau et des installations
et que nous aurons encore un brillant championnat du monde.
All in all the class is looking good and the
train on one design moves slowly on but in an agreed way now so I would
hope that many of the issues of past years are well behind us now.
Dans l'ensemble la classe est en très bonne voie et le train du
" One Design " se déplace lentement mais d'une manière
régulière. J'espère donc que bon nombre des problèmes
de ces dernières années sont loin derrière nous maintenant.
As ever I must commend your president, Paul,
for the energy, efficiency and experience that he has brought to the table
over the first year of his presidency and we should all be very thankful
that he took on the job at such a challenging time.
Comme toujours, je tiens à féliciter le président,
Paul, pour l'énergie, l'efficacité et l'expérience
qu'il a mis sur la table au cours de cette première année
de sa présidence et nous sommes tous être très reconnaissants
sur le travail réalisé sur une période aussi difficile.
